Role Description This contract role for a SAP FSM Consultant is based in Hyderabad in a hybrid work model, combining on-site collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility. The consultant will configure, implement, and support SAP Field Service Management solutions, including service processes, master data, and integrations with related SAP modules and third-party systems. Day-to-day activities include gathering and analyzing business requirements, mapping business processes to SAP FSM functionalities, preparing functional specifications, and collaborating with technical teams to deliver robust solutions. The role involves conducting workshops, user training, and knowledge transfer sessions, as well as performing system testing, issue resolution, and ongoing optimization of service operations. The consultant will work closely with stakeholders to ensure solutions are aligned with business goals, compliant with standards, and scalable for future needs.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to understand complex service operations, interpret requirements, and translate them into effective SAP FSM solutions.
• Consulting experience in SAP FSM or related SAP service modules, with the ability to lead workshops, advise stakeholders, and document functional designs.
• Hands-on expertise in modeling and optimizing business processes, especially in field service, service call management, and supply chain-related workflows.
• In-depth knowledge of master data setup and governance within SAP FSM and related systems, ensuring data consistency and quality across the landscape.
• Experience with system integration, including SAP FSM integration with ERP, CRM, and external applications, using standard APIs and middleware tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline; SAP FSM or SAP service-related certifications are an advantage.
• Proficiency in documenting functional specifications, test cases, and user guides, with clear communication skills for cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Hyderabad, manage multiple assignments, and collaborate with global stakeholders.
