Role Overview

True Tech Professionals is looking for an experienced Senior Java Full Stack & Platform Engineer with strong expertise in enterprise application development, cloud infrastructure, DevOps automation, and container orchestration.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing and supporting full-stack applications while managing Linux environments, AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms.

The role requires someone who can contribute to both application engineering and platform reliability, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Full Stack Application Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and modern JavaScript technologies.
  • Build responsive frontend applications using React.js and AngularJS.
  • Develop backend services, APIs, and application components using Java and Node.js.
  • Integrate applications with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Perform application debugging, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Participate in the complete SDLC, including requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and production support.2. Linux & System Administration
  • Administer and maintain enterprise Linux environments, primarily RHEL/CentOS.
  • Manage system configurations, security, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Support development, testing, and production environments.3. Cloud & Infrastructure Engineering
  • Design, provision, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Monitor cloud resources, availability, performance, and security.
  • Implement cloud infrastructure optimization and cost-management practices.
  • Manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible.4. DevOps & CI/CD Automation
  • Design, build, and maintain advanced CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and GitHub.
  • Automate application build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
  • Implement deployment automation and continuous integration practices.
  • Manage source control, versioning, and release management workflows.5. Containerization & Platform Engineering
  • Deploy, configure, and administer Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters.
  • Work with Docker and Podman for containerization.
  • Manage containerized application deployments and orchestration.
  • Develop and maintain internal developer portal capabilities using Backstage and its plugins.6. Database Management & Collaboration
  • Design, optimize, and troubleshoot relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Write and optimize advanced SQL queries.
  • Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams.
  • Ensure application scalability, reliability, security, and operational efficiency.Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong hands-on experience in Java enterprise application development.
  • Full-stack development expertise with React.js, AngularJS, and Node.js.
  • Strong Linux administration experience with RHEL/CentOS.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and cloud optimization.
  • Expertise in GitLab CI/CD and GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Terraform and Ansible for Infrastructure-as-Code.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, and Podman.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Backstage plugins.
  • Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Advanced SQL querying and database optimization skills.
  • Experience across the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Strong troubleshooting, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.Good-to-Have Skills
  • Enterprise platform engineering experience.
  • Internal developer portal implementation.
  • Cloud infrastructure governance and cost optimization.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale production environments.Work Environment
