Role: Senior Python Developer / Technical Lead

Location: Pune (Onsite, Work from Office, 5 days a week)

Shift Time: UK Shift (02.00 PM to 11.00 PM IST)

Experience: 10+ years of hands-on Python development

We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer who can design and build reliable applications, lead database implementation, and guide the team on sound software design principles

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Python applications, backend services, and APIs.
  • Own database design and implementation, including data models, queries, indexing, migrations, performance, and backup strategies.
  • Define application architecture and apply design principles such as SOLID, separation of concerns, and reusable design patterns.
  • Review code, troubleshoot complex issues, and improve application performance and reliability.
  • Establish standards for testing, documentation, security, and deployment.
  • Mentor developers and work with product, UI, and infrastructure teams to deliver solutions.Required Skills:
  • 10+ years of strong, hands-on Python experience.
  • Experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask and REST API development.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
  • Practical understanding of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, design patterns, and scalable system architecture.
  • Experience with Git, automated testing, CI/CD, and production deployments.
  • Knowledge of authentication, authorization, data protection, logging, and error handling.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs and guide implementation.Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with cloud platforms, Docker, and container-based deployments.
  • Familiarity with asynchronous processing, queues, caching, and integrations with third-party systems.
  • Experience leading technical discussions, estimating work, and mentoring engineers.
  • Exposure to AI services or enterprise integration platforms is an advantage.
