About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack .NET Developer with strong hands-on expertise in .NET Core and React.js, along with practical proficiency in Claude AI for AI-assisted software development.

The role primarily involves maintaining, troubleshooting and enhancing existing applications, including legacy codebases. The ideal candidate should be capable of understanding existing application architecture, analysing complex code, resolving technical issues and implementing new features while maintaining application stability and code quality.

Strong experience leveraging Claude AI to accelerate development, understand legacy systems, debug code and improve software engineering productivity is extremely desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot and enhance existing applications developed using .NET Core and React.js.
  • Understand, analyse and navigate legacy codebases, existing application architectures and business logic.
  • Develop and enhance backend services, APIs and business logic using C# and .NET Core.
  • Develop, modify and maintain frontend components and application interfaces using React.js.
  • Identify and resolve application defects, performance bottlenecks and technical issues.
  • Implement new features and enhancements while ensuring compatibility with existing functionality.
  • Analyse existing code, identify dependencies and perform incremental code refactoring and optimization.
  • Leverage Claude AI for code analysis, code generation, debugging, refactoring and application enhancement.
  • Use AI-assisted development workflows to understand complex codebases, accelerate development and improve productivity.
  • Perform code reviews, unit testing, debugging and application performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver application enhancements, maintenance releases and technical improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–6 years of professional experience in full stack software development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core and ASP.NET Core.
  • Good experience developing frontend applications using React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Proven experience in maintaining, troubleshooting and enhancing existing applications and legacy codebases.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, backend services and frontend-backend integration.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases, SQL and database integration.
  • Strong debugging, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience with Git and version control systems.

Claude AI – Highly Desirable Skill

Practical experience using Claude AI, particularly Claude Code or equivalent Claude-powered development workflows, is extremely desirable.

Candidates should ideally have experience in:

  • Analysing and understanding large or unfamiliar codebases using Claude AI.
  • Generating, modifying, debugging and refactoring code through AI-assisted development.
  • Understanding legacy application architecture, dependencies and execution flows.
  • Using Claude AI to troubleshoot defects and implement application enhancements.
  • Generating unit tests, reviewing code and identifying potential bugs.
  • Leveraging AI-assisted development to improve coding efficiency, maintainability and software quality.
  • Validating AI-generated code and ensuring security, reliability and adherence to development standards.

Additional Desirable Skills

  • Understanding of object-oriented programming, software design principles and design patterns.
  • Experience with application performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, build processes and deployment practices.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.

Ideal Candidate Profile

A hands-on full stack developer who can independently understand and work with existing .NET and React applications, troubleshoot complex issues, maintain legacy systems and deliver functional enhancements. The candidate should also be comfortable using Claude AI as a practical software engineering tool rather than merely for general-purpose queries.
