About The Role
The Solution Architect Professional supports the solution architecture design, executes the mapping of business requirements and facilitates smooth project delivery empowering the implementation of functional solutions that are fit for purpose and delivered against stated business requirements.
What You’ll Be Doing
CLM Configuration & Delivery (Primary)
- Support and optimise CLM processes: authoring, negotiation, approvals, obligation management,
amendments, renewals, and repository.
- Configure and validate workflows, templates, clause libraries, metadata, approval rules, and
permissions in Sirion / Icertis (or comparable).
- Work through the full SDLC with the development squad — requirements, design review, build support,
and release.
Requirements Definition & Translation
- Work closely with business stakeholders (Procurement, Legal, Operations) to elicit and define business
requirements.
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements — both functional (FRs) and non
functional (NFRs) such as performance, security, availability, scalability, and compliance.
- Author functional specs, process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria; maintain requirements
traceability from business need through to delivered solution.
- Run workshops and discovery sessions; perform gap analysis against current system capabilities.
Landscape & Dependency Mapping
- Maintain an end-to-end view of integrated systems (on-prem, SaaS, AWS-hosted) supporting
procurement and contract workflows.
- Map dependencies and data flows across systems; identify integration touchpoints and downstream
impacts of any change.
Testing & Deployment Assurance
- Plan and execute functional testing, UAT, and regression checks across business scenarios.
- Validate solutions and patches pre- and post-deployment (including sandbox-to-production) to
confirm end-to-end integrity.
- Manage defects, coordinate fixes, and sign off releases against acceptance criteria.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as liaison between business and technical teams; drive alignment and support user adoption.
- Communicate system impacts, risks, dependencies, and change implications clearly.
Essential Skills / Experience
- 4–6 years as a System / Business / Functional Analyst in an SDLC delivery environment.
- In-depth, hands-on CLM configuration on Sirion and/or Icertis — workflows, templates,
clauses, metadata, approvals, permissions.
- Strong understanding of CLM and Source-to-Contract (S2C) processes.
- Hands-on exposure to drafting, reviewing, and analysing legal contracts and obligations (e.g.
NDAs, SLAs, commercial/SaaS agreements) — enough legal/contractual literacy to
understand clause intent, obligations, and risk when configuring CLM.
- Functional testing and UAT ownership, including validation before and after deployment.
- Proven experience as the bridge between business and development squads in Agile.
- Ability to define business requirements with stakeholders and translate them into technical
requirements (FRs and NFRs), functional specs, acceptance criteria, and traceability.
- Hands-on with Jira and Confluence.
- Clear communication and strong stakeholder management.
Desirable Skills / Experience
- Awareness of integrated enterprise landscapes spanning on-prem, SaaS, and AWS-hosted
apps.
- Working knowledge of APIs, integrations, e-signature (DocuSign/Adobe Sign), webhooks,
and data migration.
- Sandbox-to-production (P2P) deployment experience.
- Business process mapping (BPMN, Visio, Lucidchart, ARIS).
- Familiarity with SAP Ariba, S/4HANA, Coupa, or Oracle Procurement.
- Root cause analysis and structured problem-solving.
