About PerchPerch is a growing lifestyle and housewares brand offering a wide range of innovative and design-driven products, including insulated bottles, tumblers, barware, glassware, kitchenware, and lifestyle accessories.

We are looking for a creative, organized, and execution-oriented Product Development Manager who can coordinate the complete product development journey, from initial ideas and design discussions to approved product samples and production readiness.

Key Responsibilities1. Product Design & Development – Delhi Office

• Work closely with management and internal teams to develop new product ideas and concepts.
• Research market trends, competitor products, innovative designs, colours, finishes, and product features.
• Coordinate with designers and vendors to develop new products and improve existing designs.
• Assist in finalizing product appearance, functionality, colours, finishes, packaging, and accessories.
• Ensure product designs align with Perch's brand positioning and customer preferences.
• Maintain a clear development plan for upcoming products and launches.2. Product Sampling & Factory Coordination – Kundli
• Coordinate with factory teams to ensure timely development of new product samples.
• Ensure samples are developed according to approved designs and requirements.
• Review samples for appearance, finish, functionality, and overall product quality.
• Communicate required corrections and follow up until satisfactory samples are developed.
• Ensure final approved counter samples are properly maintained and available to the purchase and production teams.
• Act as the primary link between the Delhi product team and Kundli factory for all development-related activities.3. Purchase & Production Coordination
• Coordinate with the purchase team to ensure all required product components, accessories, and materials are identified and arranged.
• Ensure production teams receive approved counter samples and clear product requirements.
• Follow up with purchase and production departments to ensure readiness for planned product launches.
• Resolve coordination gaps between design, sampling, purchasing, and production teams.
• Ensure smooth handover of finalized products for bulk production.4. Product Development Planning & Execution
• Manage multiple product development projects simultaneously.
• Maintain product development trackers with timelines, sample status, pending approvals, and responsibilities.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with internal departments and external vendors.
• Identify potential delays and take proactive steps to keep development activities on schedule.
• Provide regular progress updates to management.
• Ensure products move efficiently from concept to approved sample and production readiness.5. Product Improvement & Innovation
• Identify opportunities to improve existing products based on market trends and customer feedback.
• Suggest new colours, finishes, product combinations, accessories, and design enhancements.
• Explore new product categories and ideas relevant to Perch's portfolio.
• Coordinate the development of product variations and new collections.
