Reporting to: Founder & CEO

About SEORCESEORCE is building the Search Intelligence Engine for the AI Era - a platform helping brands understand, improve and measure their visibility across traditional search engines and AI-powered discovery platforms.

Our platform brings together AI visibility tracking, technical SEO, keyword intelligence, content generation, rank tracking, backlink intelligence and privacy-first web analytics.

As discovery evolves across Google, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and other AI platforms, SEORCE helps businesses understand where they are visible, where they are missing out, and what actions they should take next.

We have built a broad product offering and acquired an initial user base of 3,000+ users. Our next challenge is to build a repeatable Product-Led Growth engine that converts product usage into meaningful customer outcomes, retention and subscription revenue.

The RoleWe are looking for a hands-on Product Growth Owner to take ownership of the entire user journey - from signup and onboarding to activation, engagement, retention and paid conversion.

You will work at the intersection of product, growth, data, design, lifecycle marketing and engineering. Your job is to understand why users sign up, what value they expect, where they get stuck, what makes them return, and what ultimately convinces them to pay.

You will use product analytics, customer conversations, behavioural research and rapid experimentation to identify growth opportunities, prioritise interventions and work with the engineering team to ship improvements.

This is an execution-oriented role. We need someone who can move between analysing a funnel, interviewing a customer, writing a product specification, designing an experiment, configuring lifecycle journeys and reviewing conversion results.

You will own the outcome, not just the roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

1. Own the end-to-end product growth funnel

  • Map and continuously optimise the user journey from acquisition and signup through activation, repeat usage, subscription and paid retention.
  • Identify the largest points of friction and quantify their impact on activation and revenue.
  • Define meaningful activation events for different user segments and product workflows.
  • Build cohort-based views of user behaviour by acquisition source, device, business category, user intent and product module.
  • Establish clear funnel metrics and a weekly growth review cadence.
  • Distinguish between acquisition problems, product usability problems, weak value realisation, retention issues and monetisation friction.

2. Build and operate the experimentation engine

  • Formulate hypotheses, define control and treatment groups, establish success metrics and document decision criteria before launching experiments.
  • Run experiments across onboarding, activation, UX, feature discovery, contextual upgrade prompts, pricing communication and lifecycle messaging.
  • Analyse results objectively and decide whether to ship, iterate, stop or investigate further.

3. Drive free-to-paid conversion

  • Understand why activated users do not subscribe and identify which capabilities or outcomes users are willing to pay for.
  • Design contextual upgrade experiences triggered by genuine user needs, usage limits or intent to access paid capabilities.
  • Work with the team on free-versus-paid packaging, plan positioning, upgrade messaging and pricing experiments.
  • Optimise pricing-page visits, upgrade intent, checkout completion and payment recovery.
  • Evaluate proposed changes against paid conversion, retained revenue, refunds and early churn.
  • Build a commercial understanding of the needs of individual marketers, agencies and mid-market businesses.

4. Own lifecycle growth and re-engagement

  • Develop behaviour-triggered journeys across onboarding, activation, stalled workflows, repeat usage, upgrade intent and paid customer onboarding.
  • Work with the engineering team to ensure messaging is triggered by actual user behaviour rather than relying exclusively on generic day-based sequences.
  • Personalise communications around the user's original goal, product usage, business category and relevant outcomes.
  • Develop in-product prompts, email journeys and re-engagement interventions that help users complete valuable actions.
  • Measure incremental activation and conversion using holdouts where feasible.
  • Manage frequency, suppression, unsubscribe rates and messaging quality.

5. Turn product data into decisions

  • Audit and improve the product event taxonomy, instrumentation and funnel reporting.
  • Define event properties, conversion metrics, retention cohorts and KPI dashboards in collaboration with engineering and data resources.
  • Investigate user journeys, workflow completion, feature adoption, errors and drop-off patterns.
  • Connect behavioural data with customer interviews, feedback and subscription data.
  • Build a clear picture of which actions correlate with activation and payment, then design experiments to test whether those behaviours can be influenced.
  • Ensure product analytics are reliable enough to support business decisions.

What Success Looks LikeThe Product Growth Owner will be accountable for improving the following metrics.

Primary business outcomes

  • Increase the percentage of eligible signups that become retained paying customers.
  • Improve free-to-paid conversion and revenue generated per eligible signup.
  • Increase paid customer activation and reduce early subscription churn.
  • Establish a repeatable, evidence-led growth experimentation process.Leading indicators
  • Higher qualified activation within the first seven days.
  • Reduced median time to first meaningful value.
  • Higher completion rates for key workflows.
  • Improved conversion from insight to action.
  • Better day 7, day 14 and day 30 meaningful retention.
  • Improved upgrade conversion among users who encounter genuine paid needs.
  • Reduced onboarding abandonment, workflow failures and avoidable checkout drop-off.Targets will be established after the initial funnel audit. We do not expect the candidate to inherit arbitrary conversion targets without a reliable baseline.

Required Experience and Skills

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in product growth, growth product management, SaaS product management or a closely related role.
  • Demonstrated experience improving activation, retention, conversion or revenue for a digital product, preferably B2B SaaS.
  • Strong understanding of Product-Led Growth principles, onboarding optimisation, activation, lifecycle journeys and monetisation.
  • Hands-on experience with product analytics platforms such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, PostHog, GA4 or equivalent tools.
  • Ability to analyse funnels, cohorts, retention, segmentation and behavioural data.
  • Experience designing A/B tests and interpreting experimental results.
  • Strong product thinking: able to turn ambiguous user problems into clear requirements and shippable improvements.
  • Experience working closely with engineering and design teams.
  • Strong written communication, analytical reasoning and prioritisation skills.
  • Comfort operating in a lean startup environment where ownership, speed and resourcefulness matter.

Strong Preference

  • Experience growing a self-serve SaaS product from early traction to repeatable paid conversion.
  • Experience with freemium, free trials, usage-based limits or hybrid product-led and sales-assisted models.
  • Familiarity with customer lifecycle platforms and behaviour-triggered messaging.
  • Experience with experimentation tools, feature flags, event instrumentation and dashboard design.
  • Exposure to SEO, marketing technology, analytics, AI-powered SaaS or developer-oriented products.
  • Understanding of pricing research, packaging and willingness-to-pay testing.
  • Experience working with international customers and distributed teams.

The Kind of Person We Are Looking ForYou are a builder and problem-solver who enjoys finding the reason a funnel is broken and doing the work to fix it.

You do not assume that low conversion means the product needs more features, that inactive users need more emails, or that a pricing change will solve every problem.

You are comfortable talking to customers, querying data, mapping journeys, writing specifications, collaborating with engineers and reviewing experiment results.

You are resourceful, commercially minded and comfortable making decisions with incomplete information. You can operate independently, but you know when to involve the founder or the wider team.

You care about outcomes more than activity. You are willing to challenge assumptions, including your own.

Why Join SEORCE?

  • Own a critical business problem with direct visibility into product and revenue outcomes.
  • Work closely with the founder and a lean, technically capable team.
  • Shape the growth engine of a product operating at the intersection of SEO, AI visibility and digital discovery.
  • Have meaningful ownership over experimentation, user experience and monetisation decisions.
  • Build systems and processes that can scale with the company.

How to ApplyPlease share your CV or LinkedIn profile along with a brief note covering:

  • A product or SaaS growth problem you personally owned.
  • The funnel or user behaviour you diagnosed.
  • The experiments or product changes you implemented.
  • The measurable outcomes and lessons learned.
  • We value evidence of ownership and problem-solving over polished presentations or generic growth frameworks.
