Role Description The Python Developer Lead is a full-time, hybrid role based in Bengaluru South, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role involves leading the design and development of back-end services and APIs, building scalable and secure applications that support AI-driven and data-intensive solutions. The Python Developer Lead will collaborate with product owners, data engineers, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical designs, oversee code reviews, and enforce best practices in software engineering and object-oriented programming. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing database integrations, optimizing application performance, troubleshooting production issues, and contributing to architectural decisions. The role also includes mentoring developers, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring high-quality documentation and testing standards.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, with hands-on experience building and maintaining production-grade applications.
  • Candidates should possess solid expertise in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with a focus on Python and clean, maintainable code design.
  • Candidates should possess practical experience working with Databases, including schema design, query optimization, and integrating data layers with application back-ends.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience leading development teams, conducting code reviews, and implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (such as Docker and Kubernetes) is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and the capacity to collaborate in a diverse, cross-functional environment.
  • Experience in data engineering, analytics platforms, or AI-driven solutions is a plus.
