Product Manager

Adform
Mumbai Metropolitan Region

About the Role and Team:

At Adform, the Product Management team is the place where we take customer challenges into our hands and translate them into new opportunities and solutions, where new products, capabilities, or improvements are born, where we measure our success by our product’s success, where we keep user experience on top of our minds, where business value is our language, and where learning and doing things better is what makes us get up every day.

We are looking for a Product Manager with a strong technical mindset who enjoys working closely with backend engineering teams, navigating technical challenges, and turning product direction into well-defined development initiatives. We operate in a fast-paced, international environment where collaboration, adaptability, and continuous learning are essential. Working alongside experienced Product Managers, Product Directors, and engineers, you will contribute to some of Adform's most important product initiatives.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience working with complex backend systems and technical domains such as payments, integrations, data pipelines, ETL, cloud infrastructure, analytics, and APIs. If you enjoy solving complex problems, bringing structure to ambiguity, connecting business needs with technical solutions, and seeing ideas through to delivery, this could be the right opportunity for you.

We hope you are ready to change the game! Be ready to:

  • Take full ownership of one or two development teams' backlogs, ensuring work is prioritized according to business objectives, product goals, and technical considerations.
  • Translate product scopes into clear Epics, Features, and User Stories, ensuring requirements are sufficiently detailed, actionable, and understood by development teams.
  • Work closely with engineers throughout development cycles, from initial requirement analysis and refinement to implementation, acceptance testing, and release.
  • Manage Product Development cycles starting when scopes are handed over by Product
  • Directors, continuing with requirement analysis, definition and grooming of Epics and User Stories, verifying against acceptance criteria, preparing user documentation, and communicating product releases
  • Identify dependencies across product teams and collaborate with fellow Product Managers to ensure alignment and smooth delivery.
  • Develop a strong understanding of your product domain, including its business context, technical architecture, dependencies, and customer value.
  • Act as the primary link between Product Directors and Development Teams
  • Plan Business Milestones according to Company priorities
  • Optimize the value of the work performed by Development Teams, and strive to maximize from business value perspective on both Commercial and Technical projects

Attitude First. Everything else will follow. We can grow together faster if you have:

  • Have proven track record of working in Product Management for at least 4+ years
  • Proven experience working closely with backend engineering teams and managing technically complex products.
  • Experience in one or more of the following domains: payments, integrations, ETL, data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, analytics, or API gateways.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts, data flows, system integrations, algorithms, and automated processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical and business challenges.
  • Use database queries to analyze performance indicators, evaluate experiments, etc.
  • Strong understanding of Product Management and Agile methodologies, including backlog management, requirements definition, prioritization, and development processes.
  • Are passionate about Product Management discipline and able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of Product Management methodologies, techniques and best practices
  • Are adaptable to change and thriving in a fast-paced business environment
  • Have “can-do “attitude, and passion for making things happen
  • Are a great match to Adform’s guiding principles: put client value in focus, behave with decency, take ownership, care, are team player, are ambitious, and stand tall
