Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with strong hands-on experience in Spring Boot, Python, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate should have experience designing, developing, and deploying scalable backend applications, building REST APIs, and working with relational and cloud-based data platforms such as PostgreSQL and BigQuery.

The candidate should be comfortable developing backend services, integrating multiple systems, and contributing to cloud-native application development.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Python.

Build, develop, and deploy applications and backend services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise applications.

Work with PostgreSQL for database design, query optimization, and data management.

Leverage Google BigQuery for data querying, processing, and analytics-related integrations.

Develop and manage data integrations between applications, databases, and cloud platforms.

Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.

Troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, architects, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Mandatory Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot.

Good programming experience in Python.

Practical experience developing and deploying applications on GCP.

Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, including SQL queries and database operations.

Experience working with Google BigQuery.

Experience building REST APIs, backend services, and microservices.

Experience with data integration and application integration.

Good to Have

Experience with GCP services such as Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, GKE, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Knowledge of cloud-native architecture and distributed systems.

Experience with application monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.

Required Skills

Good communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical deliverables.

Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
