About the Role

Talemexa is seeking an experienced and motivated Salesforce Developer to customize, enhance, and maintain our Salesforce platform to support staffing and client management teams. In this role, you will develop custom business functionality using Apex, SOQL, Salesforce Flows, and Lightning components while integrating Salesforce with external systems and services.

The ideal candidate will have 3–7 years of Salesforce development experience, a Salesforce Platform Developer certification, and strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, automation, and integration techniques. You should also be comfortable managing change requests, supporting deployments, maintaining sandbox environments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.

You will work closely with administrators, business analysts, project managers, and end users to translate business requirements into reliable, secure, and scalable Salesforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Custom Salesforce Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components to support business-specific requirements.
• Salesforce Automation: Build and maintain Salesforce Flows, validation rules, and other automation solutions to streamline staffing, recruitment, and client management workflows.
• SOQL and Data Management: Write efficient SOQL queries, manage data relationships, and optimize data retrieval to support application functionality and reporting requirements.
• API Integrations: Develop and maintain REST API integrations between Salesforce and external applications, ensuring secure data exchange and reliable system communication.
• Lightning Components: Create reusable, responsive Lightning Web Components that improve user productivity and provide intuitive interfaces for business operations.
• Change Request Management: Analyze business requests, assess technical feasibility, implement enhancements, and resolve issues while minimizing disruption to existing processes.
• Release and Sandbox Management: Support development and testing across Salesforce sandbox environments, manage deployment activities, and assist with release planning and production updates.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Write unit tests, maintain appropriate code coverage, troubleshoot defects, and ensure that customizations meet Salesforce development standards.
• Agile Collaboration: Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, and other Agile activities to deliver features within agreed timelines.
• User Training and Support: Assist users with new Salesforce features, prepare documentation, and provide guidance to improve adoption and operational efficiency.
• Security and Best Practices: Follow Salesforce security principles, enforce appropriate access controls, and develop solutions that comply with platform limits and established coding standards.
• Technical Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of custom components, integrations, configuration changes, and deployment procedures.Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• 3–7 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Salesforce Platform Developer certification, such as Platform Developer I, is required.
• Strong proficiency in Apex, SOQL, and Salesforce development fundamentals.
• Practical experience developing Lightning Web Components and custom Salesforce functionality.
• Experience designing and implementing Salesforce Flows and automation solutions.
• Hands-on experience with REST API integrations and external system connectivity.
• Understanding of Salesforce security, governor limits, testing practices, and deployment processes.
• Familiarity with sandbox management, change sets, Salesforce CLI, or other deployment tools.
• Experience working in Agile development teams and collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.
