InstaCloset is building a fashion-focused shopping platform that connects customers with vendors and enables a seamless online shopping experience. We are looking for a skilled React Native Developer to build, enhance, and maintain our customer-facing mobile application.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, mobile application architecture, API integration, and state management. Knowledge of Java and Spring Boot backend development will be a significant advantage.

## Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and hands-on React Native Developer to develop high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly mobile applications for Android and iOS.

You will collaborate closely with backend developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and product stakeholders to deliver reliable mobile features, integrate REST APIs, optimize application performance, and improve the overall customer experience.

## Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance the InstaCloset customer mobile application using React Native.

• Build reusable, responsive, and high-performance UI components following established design guidelines.

• Implement customer-facing features such as product browsing, search, categories, product details, wishlist, cart, checkout, payments, order tracking, returns, user profiles, and wallet functionality.

• Integrate REST APIs developed using Java Spring Boot and handle authentication, API responses, errors, loading states, and pagination.

• Implement state management using Redux Toolkit or other suitable state management libraries.

• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code using JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Implement secure authentication flows, OTP verification, session management, and token handling.

• Work with device capabilities such as location permissions, push notifications, image uploads, and deep linking.

• Optimize application performance, rendering, API calls, and image loading.

• Debug and resolve application crashes, UI issues, and production defects.

• Collaborate with backend developers to understand API contracts, troubleshoot integration issues, and improve API usability.

• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, testing, and release processes.

• Publish and maintain Android and iOS application builds through the respective app stores.

• Follow coding standards, modular architecture, and mobile application development best practices.

## Required Skills and Qualifications

• +6 years of professional experience in mobile application development, with strong hands-on experience in React Native.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.

• Good understanding of React fundamentals, including functional components, hooks, component lifecycle concepts, and reusable component design.

• Experience with REST API integration, Axios or similar HTTP clients, asynchronous operations, and error handling.

• Strong understanding of state management using Redux Toolkit, Redux, Zustand, or equivalent libraries.

• Experience with React Navigation and handling complex navigation flows.

• Familiarity with Android and iOS application development, debugging, and release processes.

• Experience with Git, branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.

• Understanding of responsive layouts, mobile UI/UX principles, and application performance optimization.

• Knowledge of secure storage, authentication, environment configurations, and handling sensitive application data.

• Ability to troubleshoot issues independently and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

## Good to Have

• Strong knowledge of *Java and Spring Boot*, including REST API development and integration.

• Understanding of layered backend architecture, DTOs, request validation, exception handling, and API response structures.

• Familiarity with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

• Experience with e-commerce, fashion, retail, marketplace, or other customer-facing applications.

• Experience implementing payment gateways, order management, cart workflows, returns, refunds, and promotional offers.

• Familiarity with Firebase, push notifications, analytics, and crash reporting.

• Experience with automated testing using Jest and React Native Testing Library.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and mobile application deployment automation.

• Experience with performance profiling and debugging tools for React Native.
