About the Role

Talemexa is seeking a skilled and creative Frontend Developer to build fast, accessible, and responsive interfaces for our recruiter and candidate portals. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, hands-on knowledge of React or Vue, and a solid understanding of modern frontend development practices.

In this role, you will translate design concepts into functional user interfaces, create reusable components, improve application performance, and ensure accessibility across devices and browsers. You will work closely with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver consistent, high-quality digital experiences.

This position is ideal for a developer who enjoys building user-friendly web applications, solving interface challenges, and writing clean, maintainable code.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop User Interfaces: Build and maintain responsive, interactive web interfaces for Talemexa's recruiter and candidate portals.
  • Create Reusable Components: Develop modular frontend components that promote consistency, maintainability, and efficient development.
  • Implement Figma Designs: Convert UI/UX designs and prototypes into accurate, functional interfaces while maintaining visual consistency.
  • Write Clean Code: Use JavaScript or TypeScript alongside React or Vue to develop scalable and maintainable frontend applications.
  • Optimize Performance: Improve page loading times, rendering efficiency, and overall application responsiveness.
  • Improve Accessibility: Follow web accessibility best practices to make interfaces usable for people with different abilities and assistive technologies.
  • Build Responsive Layouts: Ensure a consistent experience across desktops, tablets, and mobile devices using modern HTML and CSS techniques.
  • Write Automated Tests: Develop unit tests and end-to-end tests to validate interface behavior, identify defects, and maintain application quality.
  • Collaborate with Backend Engineers: Integrate frontend components with REST APIs and coordinate on data handling, error states, and application workflows.
  • Participate in Code Reviews: Review code, share feedback, and follow established development standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot Interface Issues: Identify and resolve browser compatibility problems, layout defects, and frontend errors.
  • Maintain Documentation: Document reusable components, implementation details, and frontend development guidelines where appropriate.Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of professional frontend development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Practical experience with React or Vue.js.
  • Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive interface design.
  • Experience writing unit tests using tools such as Jest and working with end-to-end testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Git, version control, and code review workflows.
  • Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs.
