This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Oracle WebCenter Portal Experience Consultant – Senior Developer based in India.

We are looking for an experienced Oracle WebCenter Portal Consultant and Senior Developer to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of enterprise portal solutions. In this role, you will work on large-scale project implementations, delivering customized solutions that align with business and technical requirements. You will leverage Oracle WebCenter technologies, including ADF, to develop and enhance portal components, templates, navigation models, and portlets. The position also involves front-end development using web technologies to create functional and user-friendly portal experiences. You will translate business needs into detailed technical designs and solution documentation. This is an opportunity to apply your technical expertise in a remote, collaborative environment while supporting complex IT software and services projects.

Accountabilities

  • Design, develop, customize, and implement Oracle WebCenter Portal solutions based on project and business requirements.
  • Contribute to large-scale project implementations, including custom development using ADF and other relevant technologies alongside standard Oracle WebCenter configuration.
  • Configure and customize portal components, including navigation models, page templates, and portlets.
  • Develop and enhance portal interfaces using HTML, CSS, Ajax, jQuery, and JavaScript.
  • Apply database knowledge and SQL/PLSQL skills to support application development and data-related requirements.
  • Analyze technical and business requirements and translate them into effective solution designs.
  • Prepare detailed technical solution designs and documentation to support implementation and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders and technical teams to deliver reliable, scalable portal solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Oracle WebCenter Portal development and consulting.
  • Experience delivering at least two large-scale project implementations involving customization using ADF or other technologies, in addition to standard configuration.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle WebCenter Portal features, including configuration, navigation models, page templates, and portlets.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Ajax, jQuery, and JavaScript.
  • Good understanding of database management system (DBMS) concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Proven ability to design technical solutions and produce detailed solution documentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Graduate degree in any discipline.
