About the RoleWe’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Java Developer with deep backend expertise to join our Customer Technology Products team. The role is mostly backend: building scalable services with Java and modern frameworks. You’ll also handle front-end work in Angular when the product needs it.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain high-performance backend services using Java 8/11 and Spring Boot
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for customer-facing products
  • Build event-driven systems using Kafka or similar messaging platforms
  • Process and transform large datasets with Apache Spark
  • Design efficient schemas and optimize queries in MySQL
  • Build and enhance UI components in Angular as needed
  • Work with product, QA, and DevOps teams to ship reliable, production-grade features
  • Take part in code reviews, technical design discussions, and performance tuning

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of hands-on software development experience
  • Strong expertise in Java 8/11 and Spring Boot
  • Proven experience building and consuming REST APIs
  • Hands-on experience with Kafka or other messaging services
  • Working knowledge of Apache Spark for data processing
  • Solid MySQL skills, including query optimization and data modeling
  • Practical experience with Angular for front-end development
  • A strong grasp of microservices, distributed systems, and clean coding practices

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Background in customer-facing or high-traffic product environments
