Role Description The Head of IoT at Tech Vedhu is a full-time, on-site role based in Namakkal. This position is responsible for defining the IoT vision and roadmap, leading the design and development of IoT solutions, and ensuring alignment with the company’s educational and product strategy. Daily activities include supervising end-to-end IoT architecture, overseeing device connectivity and data flows, coordinating cross-functional teams, and managing project timelines and deliverables. The Head of IoT will collaborate with product, engineering, and content teams to integrate IoT concepts into learning solutions, establish best practices, and ensure robust security, scalability, and reliability of IoT initiatives. The role also involves mentoring team members, engaging with stakeholders, and staying current with emerging IoT and M2M trends.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong expertise in Internet of Things (IoT) and M2M technologies, including device connectivity, protocols, and IoT platforms.
  • Candidates should possess proven Product Management skills, with experience defining roadmaps, prioritizing features, and delivering market-relevant IoT solutions.
  • Candidates should possess demonstrated Team Leadership capabilities, including mentoring engineers, building high-performing teams, and fostering collaborative environments.
  • Candidates should possess solid Project Management skills, with experience planning, executing, and monitoring complex technical projects within defined timelines and budgets.
  • Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to security, scalability, and reliability in IoT systems.
  • Candidates should possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate across engineering, product, and business functions.
  • Candidates should ideally have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in ed-tech, technical training, or building learning products is beneficial, along with familiarity with cloud platforms, data analytics, and API integrations.
