Principal - AI Capabilities

Mathco AI labs work with customers and GTM teams to develop cutting edge AI offerings for our customers. These offerings span across AI process transformation, building data and context foundations, and verticalized AI offerings. We are seeking a seasoned AI leader to drive enterprise-scale AI capabilities across client engagements. This role requires a blend of AI consulting, solutioning, delivery leadership, and stakeholder management to help organizations identify, design, implement, and scale AI-driven solutions.

The ideal candidate has partnered with enterprise customers on large-scale AI programs, led end-to-end AI engagements from conceptualization through implementation, developed strategic solutioning POVs for complex business challenges, and delivered measurable business outcomes through AI. Experience in Pharma, Life Sciences, or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industries is highly preferred.

This role works with our teams to identify a roadmap of AI native offerings that is highly contextualized to our key customers, builds assets/ accelerators with domain experts, helps GTM teams in capability outreach and solution demos to customers and lends expertise in implementing accelerators with customers. You will have deep experience in building and scaling AI solutions and working with customers. You are capable of working with AI engineers, developers, business customers as well as cross functional internal stakeholders. Domain focused experience in either consumer goods or pharma is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise AI Advisory & Client Partnership

• Partner with senior business and technology stakeholders to define AI strategies and transformation roadmaps.
• Lead AI discovery workshops and identify high-impact opportunities aligned to business objectives.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers on AI adoption and scaling initiatives.
• Translate business challenges into AI-led transformation opportunities.AI Solutioning & Capability Development
• Lead solutioning efforts for complex AI, GenAI, Advanced Analytics, and Agentic AI opportunities.
• Develop compelling POVs, solution frameworks, business cases, and implementation of roadmaps.
• Work closely with clients and internal teams to design scalable and business-relevant AI solutions.
• Drive capability development and best practices across AI offerings.End-to-End AI Program Leadership
• Own large-scale AI engagements from opportunity assessment and conceptualization through implementation and adoption.
• Lead cross-functional teams through solution design, development, deployment, and value realization.
• Establish governance, delivery frameworks, and execution plans for AI programs.
• Manage executive stakeholder communication and program success metrics.Team Leadership & Delivery Excellence
• Lead and mentor a team of AI Architects, Data Scientists, AI Engineers, and Consultants.
• Ensure delivery excellence across multiple client programs.
• Drive technical and functional reviews to ensure scalability, quality, and business impact.
• Build organizational capability in enterprise AI implementation and delivery.Industry-Focused AI Transformation
• Apply domain expertise to solve business challenges across Pharma, Life Sciences, and CPG sectors.
• Lead AI initiatives spanning commercial effectiveness, supply chain, demand forecasting, customer analytics, manufacturing, and operational optimization.
• Understand industry-specific constraints, regulatory considerations, and implementation challenges.Required Experience
• 15+ years of experience in Analytics, AI, Data Science, Consulting, or Digital Transformation.
• Proven experience working directly with enterprise customers on large-scale AI programs.
