About Us

We are surrounded by the world's leading consumer companies led by technology - Amazon for retail, Airbnb for hospitality, Uber for mobility, Netflix and Spotify for entertainment, etc. Food & Beverage is the only consumer sector where large players are still traditional restaurant companies. The opportunity for us is immense due to the exponential growth in the food delivery business worldwide which has helped us build 'The World's Largest Internet Restaurant Company' in the last few years. Rebel Foods' current presence in India and UAE with close to 50 brands and 4500+ internet restaurants has been built on The Rebel Operating System.

While for us it is still Day 1, we know we are in the middle of a revolution towards creating never seen before customer-first experiences. We bring you a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to disrupt the 500-year-old industry with technology at its core.

About the Role

We're seeking a technically savvy, hands-on Associate Platform Product Manager to own and

enhance key components of the Rebel Operating Stack.

Your work will span integrations with global food aggregators, order management, and the Rebel

Kitchen system stack. You'll work with external partners and internal engineering teams to improve

order success, while partnering with kitchen teams to simplify workflows, reduce manual effort, and

improve operational efficiency.

This role requires curiosity about how systems work, a strong process mindset, and comfort engaging with users across the organization - from kitchen staff and dispatch teams to brand managers and business leaders.

What You'll Do

  • Build the Rebel Kitchen Stack: Continuously improve the systems used for kitchen preparation,

order management, routing, and dispatch. Translate observations from kitchen operations into

practical features that reduce effort, errors, and turnaround time.

  • Work with Global Aggregators and Ordering Partners: Partner with platforms such as Swiggy,

Zomato, Talabat, Uber Eats, IRCTC, Keeta, and Noon across markets to build and improve API

integrations covering menus, availability, order processing, and order status updates. Coordinate

requirements, testing, certification, and rollouts with partner teams.

  • Drive Order Success: Identify and address failures across the order lifecycle - from store and

menu availability to order acceptance and fulfilment. Investigate rejection patterns, diagnose

issues with engineering and operations, and drive fixes that prevent recurrence.

  • Understand the Technology: Develop a working understanding of our microservices

architecture, APIs, databases, and system dependencies. Contribute to technical discussions,

identify edge cases, and help balance operational needs with scalability and reliability.

What You'll Do

  • Stay Close to Ground-Level Users: Spend time with kitchen staff, dispatch teams, operations,

brand teams, and customer support to understand how the platform performs in practice. Use

these insights to define solutions and validate their effectiveness.

  • Own Features Through Execution: Take features from problem definition and requirements

through prioritization, development, testing, launch, and adoption. Document business rules,

dependencies, exception scenarios, and acceptance criteria clearly.

  • Build Reliable Processes: Establish clear workflows for platform configuration, partner

onboarding, rollouts, and issue resolution. Create documentation and training that help teams use

new capabilities consistently.

  • Measure Outcomes: Define and track metrics such as order success, rejection rates, menu

availability, preparation and dispatch time, and manual effort. Use data to prioritize improvements

and assess their impact.

What You'll Bring

  • Technical Acumen: A solid understanding of APIs, microservices, and database principles, with

the ability to reason through system flows and integration failures. Experience with cloud platforms

or external integrations is a plus.

  • Product Sense: The ability to turn operational problems into clear requirements and prioritize

solutions based on user needs, business impact, and implementation effort.

  • Operational Curiosity: A willingness to spend time in kitchens, observe workflows firsthand, and

understand the constraints teams face during peak operations.

  • Analytical Problem-Solving: Comfort working with data to identify failure patterns, investigate

root causes, and measure whether a solution delivers the intended outcome. Familiarity with SQL is

a plus.

  • Process Orientation: Attention to detail when defining workflows, handling exceptions,

documenting requirements, and planning rollouts.

  • Communication Skills: The ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users and

communicate operational requirements precisely to engineers and external partners.

  • Collaboration and Ownership: A proactive approach to coordinating across engineering,

operations, business teams, and aggregator partners, with consistent follow-through.

  • Familiarity with Product Tools: Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, and API

testing tools like Postman is a plus.

If you enjoy solving complex platform problems, working with global partners, and seeing your

products improve everyday kitchen operations, we'd love to hear from you.
