Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Full Stack & Platform Engineer with strong experience in enterprise application development, cloud infrastructure, DevOps automation, and container orchestration.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Java-based application development, modern frontend technologies, Linux system administration, AWS cloud services, CI/CD automation, and Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms.

This role involves working across application engineering and platform operations to build, deploy, maintain, and optimize scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Full Stack Application Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and modern JavaScript technologies.
  • Build responsive and scalable frontend applications using React.js and AngularJS.
  • Develop backend services, REST APIs, and application components using Java and Node.js.
  • Integrate applications with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Perform application debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and production support.2. Linux System Administration
  • Administer and maintain enterprise Linux environments, primarily RHEL/CentOS.
  • Manage system configurations, security, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide operational support across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Ensure system availability, stability, and performance.3. AWS Cloud & Infrastructure Engineering
  • Design, provision, configure, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Monitor cloud resources for availability, performance, and security.
  • Implement infrastructure optimization and cloud cost-management strategies.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible.4. DevOps & CI/CD Automation
  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and GitHub.
  • Automate application builds, testing, deployment, and release processes.
  • Implement continuous integration and deployment automation practices.
  • Manage source control, versioning, and release management workflows.
  • Identify and resolve pipeline failures and deployment-related issues.5. Containerization & Platform Engineering
  • Deploy, configure, and administer Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters.
  • Work with Docker and Podman for application containerization.
  • Manage containerized application deployments, orchestration, and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and maintain internal developer portal capabilities using Backstage and its plugins.
  • Support platform reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.6. Database Management & Collaboration
  • Design, manage, optimize, and troubleshoot relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries.
  • Collaborate with application development, DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams.
  • Ensure application scalability, reliability, security, and performance.Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise application development and software delivery.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java and Node.js.
  • Experience with frontend technologies, including React.js and AngularJS.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux administration (RHEL/CentOS).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Expertise in GitLab CI/CD and GitHub workflows.
  • Experience designing and maintaining advanced CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Docker and Podman.
  • Practical experience with Terraform and Ansible.
  • Experience with Backstage and plugin development/integration.
  • Strong SQL and relational/NoSQL database skills.
  • Good understanding of the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.Preferred Candidate Profile
  • Strong combination of full-stack application development and platform engineering experience.
  • Ability to work across development, infrastructure, and DevOps functions.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications and production environments.
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot complex application and infrastructure issues.
