ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a hands-on Shopify expert to own the technical health, performance and growth of the Aamra Jewellery online store. You will keep the platform fast, stable and conversion-ready, and turn business needs into smooth, reliable store experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and maintain the Shopify store, themes, apps and integrations end to end.
  • Customise Liquid themes, sections and templates; ship new pages, collections and campaign landing pages.
  • Optimise site speed, mobile experience, SEO and Core Web Vitals.
  • Integrate and monitor payment gateways, shipping partners, ERP/inventory, CRM and marketing tools.
  • Manage catalogue structure, metafields, variants, pricing and inventory sync.
  • Set up and QA tracking: GA4, Meta Pixel, Google Ads and conversion events.
  • Troubleshoot issues quickly, manage backups, access control and store security.
  • Support peak periods (festive and wedding seasons, sales) with zero-downtime readiness.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

  • 3+ years of hands-on Shopify / Shopify Plus experience.
  • Strong Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript; familiarity with Online Store 2.0.
  • Experience with Shopify APIs, webhooks, and third-party app integrations.
  • Working knowledge of SEO, analytics and conversion optimisation.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and clear communication with business teams.

GOOD TO HAVE

  • Experience with jewellery, fashion or luxury D2C brands.
  • Shopify Flow, Shopify Functions.
  • Knowledge of Indian payment gateways, GST workflows and logistics integrations.
  • Basic CRO / A/B testing and automation (Klaviyo, WhatsApp, etc.).

  • Store uptime of 99.9%+ and fast load times across devices.
  • Rising conversion rate and lower cart abandonment.
  • New features and campaigns launched on time with minimal bugs.
