These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Fitboard (fitboard.in). By accessing or using Fitboard, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What Fitboard is

Fitboard is an ATS resume scoring tool. It analyses your resume against a job description and gives you a score and breakdown across skills, experience, and bullet quality. The goal is to help you surface what you already have but may not have communicated clearly — not to fabricate skills or experience you do not have.

Fitboard is a decision-support tool, not a guarantee of interview shortlisting. Scores are based on algorithmic analysis and may not reflect every recruiter's or company's criteria.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• One person, one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent free tier limits is not permitted.

3. Free tier and paid plans

• The free tier includes 3 resume analyses per calendar month at no charge.
• The first analysis does not require account creation.
• Paid plans grant additional analyses and features. Plan details and pricing are shown on the pricing page and are subject to change with reasonable notice.
• All payments are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Fitboard to submit, process, or store illegal, defamatory, or harmful content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract our scoring models or APIs.
• Use automated scripts or bots to make requests to Fitboard.
• Share your account credentials with others.
• Attempt to bypass rate limits or free tier restrictions through technical means.

5. Your data and content

You own your resume and any content you upload. By uploading it, you grant Fitboard a limited licence to process it for the sole purpose of generating your score and displaying it to you. We do not claim ownership of your resume.

We do not use your resume content to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how your data is handled.

6. No fabrication guarantee

Fitboard is built on a core principle: we only surface what you already have. The "Fix my resume" feature rewrites your bullet points using your own stated experience as the source. It does not add skills, roles, or achievements you have not mentioned. You are responsible for reviewing any AI-generated suggestions before using them in your resume.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Fitboard is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• Your score will accurately predict ATS outcomes at any specific company.
• Following our suggestions will result in interview calls or job offers.
• The service will be available without interruption or error.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Fitboard and its founders, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including missed job opportunities or decisions made based on Fitboard scores.

Our total liability for any claim arising from use of Fitboard shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim, or ₹500, whichever is greater.

9. Changes to the service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Fitboard at any time. If we discontinue a paid plan, we will provide a pro-rated refund for unused time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes wherever possible.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pune, Maharashtra, India.
