Role Description The Plant Head role is a full-time, on-site position based at the manufacturing facility in Sonipat. The Plant Head will oversee end-to-end plant operations, including production planning, resource allocation, and daily workflow management to ensure optimal output. This role is responsible for maintaining quality standards, monitoring production performance, and implementing process improvements to meet safety, compliance, and efficiency targets. The Plant Head will manage plant budgets, coordinate with cross-functional teams, lead and mentor plant staff, and ensure timely delivery of products in line with business requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Plant Operations and Production Management to oversee end-to-end manufacturing activities.
- Candidates should possess skills in Production Planning and Budgeting to manage resources, costs, and capacity effectively.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Quality Control to maintain product standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong leadership, team management, and people development abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance requirements, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Production, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in foam manufacturing or related industries is preferred.
