About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Company Secretary (CS) Trainee to support the Compliance team in ensuring adherence to corporate laws, regulatory requirements, and governance standards. The trainee will gain hands-on experience in corporate compliance, board matters, statutory filings, and legal documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining statutory registers, records, and documents.
• Support the preparation of Board Meeting, Committee Meeting, and General Meeting agendas, notices, and minutes.
• Monitor compliance calendars and ensure timely completion of statutory requirements.
• Draft basic resolutions, agreements, and corporate correspondences.
• Support due diligence exercises, audits, and compliance reviews.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external consultants for compliance-related matters.
• Assist in implementation of corporate governance and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Conduct legal and regulatory research as required.
• Support Team Members basis the projects undertaken

Eligibility Criteria

• Passed Executive Programme of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
• Eligible to undergo practical training as prescribed by ICSI.
• Good understanding of Companies Act, 2013, and corporate compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
