About the Role

We are hiring an IBM API Connect & DataPower Developer

  • Locations: Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Noida, Trivandrum
  • Work Model: Hybrid
  • Experience: 8+ years
  • Notice Period: Immediate - 15 days

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise API solutions using IBM API Connect v10 and API management best practices.
  • Design and publish APIs, Products, Catalogs, Consumer Organizations, and Developer Portal assets across development, test, and production environments.
  • Define and enforce API governance standards, security policies, design guidelines, and lifecycle management processes.
  • Implement and support API security mechanisms, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JWT, API Keys, and Mutual TLS (mTLS).
  • Integrate IBM API Connect with enterprise Identity Providers such as Okta, Azure AD, IBM Verify, and other authentication platforms.
  • Develop and configure API Gateway policies, GatewayScript logic, request/response transformations, routing, and error-handling frameworks.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, application teams, security teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure API solutions.
  • Lead troubleshooting, performance tuning, root cause analysis, and production support for API platform and API-related issues.
  • Drive CI/CD automation, API deployment strategies, version management, and release activities across multiple environments.
  • Mentor and guide API developers, conduct design/code reviews, provide technical leadership, and ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards.

Prerequisite for API Connect

  • Resource should have total experience of 8+ years
  • Resource should have at least 5+ years od experience in API Connect and DataPower
  • Experience in both API Connect and DataPower is a must
  • Should be available to join in 2 weeks
  • Excellent communication skill
  • Should have experience in API Desing, Security Implementation, Best practices, API Governance, and client handling
